About Custom Built Optics

We’re proud to provide premium custom built optics at Maven.

It typically takes about 4 weeks to build a custom optic once it has been ordered. If a custom order needs to be received more quickly than the standard 4 weeks there is an option in the custom-builder app to expedite your build time to 2 weeks . Expedited shipping options are also available to speed up delivery. Build time and shipping speed prices are figured separately.

Customs built optics are a final purchase. Since this optic is built to the customers specifications, we don’t offer refunds.

*Please note: Our lead times on custom orders are a best estimate. Given the current supply chain issues, lead times can vary - and while we strive our best to keep accurate and up to date information available on our website there may be some circumstances where orders may ship after the given lead time. SECTION 2 – SPECIAL PAYMENTS

Using Multiple Gift Certificates

If you’ve selected Splitit or Shop Pay Installments as your payment option

You must wait to be transferred (or wait for the popup to initiate) for Splitit or Shop Pay. Your order will not be processed until after you have made full payment through these options.

Splitit guarantees your purchase, by placing a hold on your credit card, while the total amount is outstanding. This is not a payment, it’s just a pre-authorization that allows you to pay off your balance over time, before accruing any interest. Just pay as you go and Splitit will re-authorize the hold and deduct the amount each month.

Shop Pay gives you the option to pay in full at checkout, or to split your purchase into four equal, bi-weekly, interest-free installment payments. When available, Shop Pay Installments is an option for orders between 50 USD and 3,000 USD.

There are no additional charges, interest rates, or late fees, and your credit score isn't affected. Shop Pay Installments is powered and serviced by Affirm.

SECTION 3 – SHIPPING

Lead Times For Shipment From Warehouse

In-stock Optics and Accessories: 1-3 business days

Standard Shipping

We’re happy to announce Standard Flat Rate shipping across the entire United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. $5 for accessories, $10 for a small parcel and $15 for a standard size parcel.

The shipping method of these items is Maven’s decision: either UPS or USPS.

Our website is linked to USPS and UPS websites to determine the cost of shipping for non-contiguous states and offshore insular areas. Pricing is accurate to current costs.

International Shipments

*If you have chosen International USPS as your shipping method, Maven will not be held responsible to replace items that are lost or damaged by USPS. Currently, lead times are extremely long for delivery with International USPS. We recommend choosing UPS Worldwide as your method of shipment to ensure a greater chance of on-time delivery.

UPS Worldwide is the umbrella term that UPS uses to reference all of their international services. Our website lists all UPS shipping options at checkout for you to choose from: UPS standard, Worldwide Expedited, and Worldwide Express. UPS Worldwide Expedited and Worldwide Express import brokerage fees are zero dollars because they are included in the cost and UPS Standard import brokerage fees are a large dollar amount. There is a difference between Standard and Worldwide options in brokerage fees.

Australia and New Zealand: Most packages will need to be shipped express in order to make it through the border.

Expedited Services

If selecting UPS 2-day, 3-day Select and Next Day Air as your shipping option, these time frames are not calculated from the date the order was placed. Instead, your package will not ship until completion of your order (up to 3 business days on stock items or up to 4+ weeks with custom items), according to our shipping policy.

SECTION 4 – RETURNS

Return Policy

All stock Maven products can be returned within two weeks for full credit minus initial shipping cost. Items must be in new condition. Custom units are built specifically to order and cannot be returned for credit. To be sure of your purchase we welcome you to test a demo unit first (riflescopes excluded). To initiate a return please fill out our warranty returns form. Call our front desk at 1.800.307.1109 for any other questions.

Maven doesn’t build shipping costs into our optic pricing. Initial shipping is covered by the customer. Please note the return shipping is left to the customer to handle as well.

SECTION 5 – ORDER STATUS

Order Status

You can always check the status of your order by calling the main office, 1.800.307.1109. We will be happy to make any changes to your order before the item ships on stock items, usually within 24 hours after your order has been placed. Once your order has been processed a new order must be placed for any additional items.

For custom orders, please make sure your order is correct before checking out. We try to start the assembly process as soon as possible leaving little time for last minute changes.

SECTION 6 – SECURITY

Security Disclaimer

We at Maven understand your concerns about the security of online transactions. Therefore, our site is equipped with the most advanced Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology available to ensure the privacy of any information you submit through this site. In addition, for the security of our customers, we do not retain any credit card information once transactions are completed.

Phone Number

We ask for a Phone Number because our shippers require us to supply that information with every shipped package. Your phone number will only be used in rare cases when we need to contact you regarding your order or by shippers when necessary to complete delivery. If this order is being sent as a gift, please be assured that we will not contact the recipient prior to his/her receipt of the gift, place the recipient on any telemarketing lists, or share the phone number with any third party other than the shipper. If you do not know or do not wish to provide a gift recipient’s phone number, you may use your own phone number.

If we suspect that this order is being billed to a person without his/her knowledge, we may call that person to confirm the order prior to shipment. If a customer hasn’t returned a phone call on this matter from a Maven representative, we reserve the right to cancel the order to avoid fraudulent purchases.

Please be assured that we will not place this phone number on any telemarketing lists or share it with any third party.
